FUN RUN – Thanks to all of you who came and supported the DPTO Fun Run on Saturday. The DPTO works hard to support our school, and it is important that we show our appreciation for their volunteer work. 
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES (ASA) begin this week, and will continue until March 2. Please remember to pick your children up promptly at 4:00 pm
MAP TESTING –Our second MAP testing for the 2010-2011 school year will conclude this week. 
UNIVERSITY VISIT– Mercyhurst University will meet with Grade 11 and 12 students on Friday, January 28, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. in the Library. Parents are invited to attend and learn more about admission into this university.
SPELLING BEE – Discovery School will be proudly hosting this year’s ABSH Spelling Bee on Saturday February 5. All staff will be on hand to ensure a successful event.
SCIENCE FAIR –To ensure quality projects and to give our students more time to prepare, our Elementary Science Fair has been rescheduled for Thursday February 17.
CONGRATULATIONS to Ms Liana, Ms. Marisela and Ms. Norma for successfully completing their Master’s course work! We are very proud of you!

FUN RUN (Carrera por la diversión) – Gracias a todos los que asistieron y apoyaron el Fun Run del DPTO el día Sábado. El DPTO trabaja arduamente para apoyar nuestra escuela, y es importante que mostremos nuestro agradecimiento por su trabajo voluntario.

EXAMENES MAP – El segundo ciclo de exámenes MAP del año escolar 2010-2011 finalizará esta semana.
VISITA DE UNIVERSIDAD – La Universidad de Mercyhurst se reunirá con los estudiantes de los grados 11 y 12 el viernes 28 de enero 2011, a las 9:00 am en la biblioteca. Los padres están invitados a asistir y aprender más acerca de la admisión en esta universidad
SPELLING BEE - Escuela de Discovery se enorgullece de ser el anfitrión del ABSH Spelling Bee de este año, el sábado 5 de febrero. Todo el personal estará a su disposición para garantizar el éxito del evento.
FERIA DE CIENCIAS: para garantizar la calidad de los proyectos y dar a nuestros estudiantes más tiempo para prepararse, nuestra Feria de Ciencias de Primaria ha sido reprogramado para el jueves 17 de febrero.
