GENERAL ASSEMBLY: As we did not have quorum last week, the Second Summons for the Spring General Assembly has been issued. The General Assembly will take place this Thursday, May 24, beginning at 6:00 p.m. At the meeting, our school community will be voting for the budget and calendar for the coming school year and electing Board members for the next two school years. Please come and support our school by being a part of these important decisions that affect all of us.
MAP TESTING AND MAKE UPS: This is our final week of MAP testing. Make up tests will be given at the end of the week. The reports will be issued along with the report cards at the end of the school year.
ENROLLMENT DRIVE BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! The Enrollment Drive has begun again! Information has been sent via email and hard copy to parents and teachers. If you did not get a copy, please see Paola for a copy of the guidelines.
DISCOVERY ZONE SUMMER CAMP: Please continue promoting our Discovery Zone Summer Camp
MS BOOT CAMP: We have scheduled “Boot Camp” for our Middle School students this Friday, May 25. Our High School students went last Friday and had a great time. These events are filled with many teambuilding activities aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship among our students. They will be learning about real life situations and practicing how to solve problems in an engaging environment. The cost of the camp is L. 800 per student, which includes materials, lunch and a T-shirt. The place is in Casa Santiago Zambrano. This activity is led and organized by Mr. Salvador Recinos, who has been a guest speaker at our school this year. ASAMBLEA GENERAL: Como no se logró la asistencia requerida la semana pasada, la Segunda Convocatoria para la Asamblea General de primavera se ha emitido. La Asamblea General será este jueves 24 de mayo, iniciando a las 6:00 p.m. En la reunión, la comunidad escolar votará por el presupuesto y calendario escolar del próximo año y se hará la elección de los miembros de la Junta para los próximos dos años. Por favor venga y apoye nuestra escuela siendo parte de estas decisiones importantes que nos afectan a todos.
EXAMENES MAP Y REPOSICIONES: Esta es la última semana de exámenes MAP. Los exámenes de reposición serán hechos al final de la semana. Los reportes se enviaran junto a las calificaciones al final del año escolar.

CAMPAMENTO DE VERANO DISCOVERY ZONE: Por favor continúe promoviendo nuestro Campamento de Verano Discovery Zone.
BOOT CAMP DE ESCUELA MEDIA: Hemos programado el “Boot Camp” para los alumnos de Escuela Media (grados de 6 a 8) este viernes 25 de mayo. Los alumnos de Secundaria fueron el viernes y la pasaron muy bien. Estos eventos están llenos de actividades de trabajo en equipo apuntando al fortalecimiento de los lazos de amistad entre nuestros alumnos. Aprenderán acerca de situaciones de la vida real y practicaran como resolver problemas en un ambiente comprometedor. El costo del campamento es de L.800 por alumno, lo que incluye materiales, almuerzo y una camiseta. El lugar es en Casa Santiago en Zambrano. Esta actividad está siendo guiada y organizada por el Sr. Salvador Recinos, quien ha sido un conferencista invitado en nuestra escuela.
