SCIENCE FAIR: Thanks to all the parents who worked hard with their children and supported this year’s Science Fair. Thanks to you it was a success. The Elementary students showed very interesting projects and did a wonderful job with their presentations.
MIDTERM REPORTS were issued last Thursday. Please make sure you send them signed back to the homeroom teachers this week and please request a conference if you feel one is needed and wasn’t requested.
KINDLE ORDER: A second order will be placed next week. Please let Ms. Paola know by Friday, February 25, if you are interested. The price is still $140.00. We will not order covers because there is so much variety in what is available.
T3 WORSKHOP IN SAN PEDRO SULA: Mr. Kjell Fenn has been invited as the Pre-Conference presenter and Keynote Speaker for the EIS Teachers Teaching Teachers workshop this week.
HIGH SCHOOL VISITS: Cape Cares will meet with our 9th to 12th grade students on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, our Junior and Senior students will be visited by Lynn and Elon Universities and Thursday by CEDAC (University).
UNF INTERNS: Our second group of student teachers (interns) from the University of Northern Florida is scheduled to join us from March 25th to April 16th. If you are interested in hosting/lodging an intern, please let me know as soon as you can.
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES (ASA) will run until March 2. We appreciate your promptness in picking your child up at 4:00 p.m.
“The Chronicles of Discovery”, a literary and art magazine for Discovery School high school students will be coming soon. Submissions for both art and literature are being accepted from now until March 11. For more information, please contact Mr. Fenn or Ms. Campbell.
GRADUATION: Congratulations to Ms. Jazmin Avilez who received her Master’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies last Saturday. This makes a grand total of 6 of our teachers who have successfully completed this program.

FERIA DE CIENCIAS: Gracias a todos los padres que trabajaron duro con sus hijos y apoyaron la Feria de Ciencias de este año. Gracias a ustedes fue todo un éxito. Los alumnos de primaria mostraron proyectos muy interesantes e hicieron un gran trabajo en sus presentaciones.
REPORTES DEL PERIODO: fueron emitidos el jueves pasado. Favor asegúrese de enviarlos de vuelta a los maestros guías esta semana y favor solicite una conferencia si siente que necesita una y esta no fue solicitada.

T3 TALLER EN SAN PEDRO SULA: El Sr. Kjell Fenn ha sido invitado como el presentador de la Pre-Conferencia y orador principal del Taller de Enseñanza de maestros EIS esta semana.
VISITA DE ESCUELA SECUNDARIA: Cape Cares se reunirá con los alumnos de 9 a 12 grado el día martes. También el martes, los juniors y seniors recibirán la visita de Universidades de Lynn y Elon y el jueves de CEDAC (Universidad).
INTERNOS DE UNF: Nuestro segundo grupo de maestros practicantes (internos) de la Universidad del Norte de Florida esta programado a acompañarnos desde el 25 de marzo al 16 de abril. Si esta interesado en dar alojamiento a un interno, favor hágamelo saber tan pronto sea posible.
ACTIVIDADES EXTRA CURRICULARES (ASA) continuaran hasta el 2 de marzo. Apreciamos su puntualidad al recoger a su hijo a las 4:00 pm.
