ABSH MATH OLYMPICS AND MATH BOWL -
13 secondary students have traveled to La Ceiba this weekend participate in:
- Basic Math, Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry exams.
- Cartesian and Euclidean categories
The math competitions will be hosted by Palmeras Bilingual School. We wish our mathletes the best. The group have traveled with their coaches Ms. Ashley Lardizabal and Mr. Cesar Martínez.

- Exámenes de Matemáticas Básicas, Pre Álgebra, Álgebra 1 y Geometría.
- Categorías Cartesianas y Euclidianas.
La competencia de matemáticas es organizada por la Escuela Bilingüe Palmeras. Deseamos a nuestros atletas de matemáticas lo mejor. El grupo viajará con sus entrenadores, Ms. Ashley Lardizabal y Mr. Cesar Martínez.

READ - A - THON: We are very happy to officially announce the winners of the 2019 Read-a-thon which was held during the month of March to commemorate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. These amazing readers will be treated to lunch and a gift at 12:00 m. on Wednesday, April 10.

MARATON DE LECTURA: Nos complace anunciar oficialmente a los ganadores del Maratón de Lectura de 2019, que se llevó a cabo durante el mes de marzo para conmemorar el cumpleaños de Dr. Seuss. Estos increíbles lectores recibirán un almuerzo y un regalo el miércoles 10 de abril a las 12:00 m.

SCIENCE FAIR: Our students grades Kinder through six have been working hard with their teachers these past few weeks learning about the Scientific Method - testing hypotheses, collecting data, using technology for research and displaying information, and preparing for their outstanding presentations today. Kudos to all students (and teachers) for their hard work!

FERIA DE CIENCIAS: Nuestros estudiantes de Kinder al 6to grado han estado trabajando arduamente con sus maestros estas últimas semanas aprendiendo sobre el Método Científico: evaluando hipótesis, recolectando datos, utilizando tecnología para la investigación y mostrando información, y preparándose para sus presentaciones sobresalientes hoy. ¡Felicitaciones a todos los estudiantes (y profesores) por su arduo trabajo!

Early Childhood and CEPUDO
|

In Early Childhood we learn about many things. We teach our children about sharing and helping. CEPUDO is a nonprofit organization that helps people in need. One of the activities they carry out is donating goodie bags to new mothers at Hospital Materno Infantil. These goodie bags are filled with essentials for mothers and babies. In the next few weeks, you will be receiving an EMPTY TOTE BAG, so you and your child, can go through their baby clothes and pick out items they would like to donate to others. We will continue with this activity until the end of April. SHARING IS CARING!!!

En Pre-escolar, aprendemos acerca de muchas cosas. Enseñamos a nuestros estudiantes a compartir y ayudar. CEPUDO es una organización sin fines de lucro que ayuda a las personas con poco recursos. Una de las actividades que realizan es donar bolsas de artículos necesarios a las nuevas madres en el Hospital Materno Infantil. Estas bolsas de regalos llenas de productos les ayudan a las madres y los bebés. En las próximas semanas, recibirá una BOLSA VACIA, para que usted y su hijo (a) puedan revisar la ropa usada de su hijo(a) cuando era bebé y elegir los artículos que les gustaría donar. Continuemos con esta activdad hasta finales del mes de abril. ¡Compartir es ser solidario!

ABSH VOLLEYBALL - for the first time, the school will participate with a girls team in the pre-juvenile category. The event will be hosted by the Escuela Internacional Sampedrana on April 24 - 27. We wish our girls the best. The group will travel with Ms. Yery and their coach, Mr. Calleja.

We are so proud to share the great news about Santiago Zelaya’s admission to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Santiago earned a Deans’ Gold Scholarship for his exceptional academic record. Congratulations again, Santiago!
