HAPPY EASTER BREAK -
We want to wish everyone a safe, relaxing and fun Easter / Semana Santa Vacation. We hope everyone returns with their batteries charged since we will hit the ground running when we come back towards the end of the school year.

FELIZ SEMANA SANTA - Queremos desearles a todos que tengan unas vacaciones de Semana Santa divertidas y seguras. Esperamos que todos regresen con las baterías recargadas, para ponernos en marcha cuando regresemos hacia el final del año escolar.

The school will be celebrating the SPANISH LANGUAGE WEEK during the week of April 23 - 26 (immediately after we return from Easter Break). Different activities have been organized with all grade levels. Please take the time to read the document with the dates, times, and the different activities scheduled.

La escuela celebrará la SEMANA DEL IDIOMA ESPAÑOL durante la semana del 23 al 26 de abril (inmediatamente después de regresar de las vacaciones de Semana Santa). Se han organizado diferentes actividades con todos los grados. Favor tomarse el tiempo de leer el siguiente documento con las fechas, horarios y las diferentes actividades programadas.

ABSH VOLLEYBALL - for the first time, the school will participate with a girls team in the pre-juvenile category. The event will be hosted by the Escuela Internacional Sampedrana on April 24 - 27. We wish our girls the best. The group will travel with Ms. Yery and their coach, Mr. Calleja.

ABSH VOLLEYBALL - por primera vez, la escuela participará con un equipo de alumnas en la categoría pre-juvenil. El evento será organizado por la Escuela Internacional Sampedrana del 24 al 27 de abril. Les deseamos a nuestras alumnas lo mejor. El grupo viajará con Ms. Yery y su entrenador, Mr. Calleja.

BAKE SALE - The Senior class will have the last bake sale of the year on Friday, April 26.

AP EXAMS PRE ADMINISTRATION SESSION (for grades 10 - 12) - we will have a pre-administration session to complete the first part of the AP exam answer sheet(s). We will meet on Thursday, May 2. This session will last approximately 60 minutes. Please, make sure your parents pick you up by 4:15. If you are a US citizen, you need to bring your Social Security number with you. All of you will need a pen, a No. 2 pencil, eraser, and sharpener for this activity. We will meet in the Conference Room. THIS IS A MANDATORY SESSION!!!

EXAMENES AP- SESIÓN PRE-ADMINISTRACIÓN (para los grados 10 a 12) - Tendremos una sesión de pre-administración para completar la primera parte de la (s) hoja (s) de respuestas del examen AP. Nos reuniremos el jueves 2 de mayo. Esta sesión durará aproximadamente 60 minutos. Favor de tomar nota y recoger a los estudiantes a las 4:15 p.m. Si es ciudadano Americano, debe traer su número de Seguro Social. Los estudiantes necesitarán un lápiz tinta, un lápiz carbón No. 2, un borrador y un sacapuntas para esta actividad. Nos reuniremos en el Salón de Conferencia. ESTA SESIÓN ES OBLIGATORIA !!!

SENIORS NEWS:
In recognition of an outstanding application and creative potential, Laura Salazar, has been accepted to Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida. The Admissions Committee at Ringling College of Art and Design were impressed with her academic record, commitment and potential in the Arts; therefore, they also awarded her a Faculty Scholarship. Way to go, Laura!

NOTICIAS DE SENIORS:
En reconocimiento a su destacada aplicación y su potencial creativo, Laura Salazar ha sido aceptada en la Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño Ringling en Florida. El Comité de Admisiones en la Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño de Ringling quedó impresionado con su historial académico, compromiso y potencial en las Artes; por lo tanto, también le otorgaron una Beca de Facultad. ¡Muy bien, Laura!
