Daring Diners The DPTO also invites you for the second edition of Daring Diners, with an early Valentine's Day celebration at La Cumbre on Wednesday, February 2. The menu for the evening is posted on the DPTO blog. Join us for a fun gastronomic event!

MINISTRY OF EDUCATION VISITS – Following a Ministry of Education regulation, some of our teachers will be visiting La Estancia School on Tuesday, and we will be receiving guest teachers from Pinares on Friday.
ABSH SPELLING BEE – The time is here! It’s our time to shine! All Discovery School staff are involved in making this an outstanding event. We will all be on campus bright and early (7:00 am) on Saturday Morning, February 5 to make sure everything goes smoothly. Thanks to Cristiana and Gloria for all of their work in planning the Spelling Bee.
SCIENCE FAIR –has been rescheduled for Thursday February 17th.
Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE) – Debbie will represent Discovery School at the AAIE’s Annual Conference in San Francisco from February 9 – 15. During that time, Elementary issues should be addressed to Ms. Cristiana, Secondary issues to Ms. Gloria, and Administrative issues to Ms. Paola. Debbie will have daily email contact with the school when she is gone.
Our Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer Teams have represented Discovery School well in their recent competitions. The last game (girls) is this Tuesday at Del Campo. We thank the students for their commitment to representing the school with such passion and discipline!

SEMANA 2 DE ACTIVIDADES EXTRA CURRICULARES (ASA) seguirá funcionando hasta el 2 de marzo. Gracias por recoger a su hijo a las 4:00 pm en punto!
VISITAS DEL MINISTERIO DE EDUCACION – Siguiendo con las regulaciones del Ministerio de Educación, algunos de nuestros maestros estarán visitando la escuela La Estancia el martes, y nosotros estaremos recibiendo la visita de los maestros de la Academia Pinares el día viernes.
ABSH SPELLING BEE – La hora llego! Es nuestro momento para brillar! Todo el personal de Discovery School está involucrado para hacer de este un evento sobresaliente. Estaremos en la escuela muy de mañana (7:00 am) del sábado 5 de febrero para asegurarnos que todo este en orden. Gracias a Ms. Cristiana y Ms. Gloria por todo su trabajo en la planeación del Spelling Bee.
FERIA DE CIENCIAS – ha sido reprogramada para el jueves 17 de febrero.
Asociación para la Promoción de la Educación Internacional (AAIE) – Debbie representará a la Escuela Discovery en la Conferencia anual de AAIE en San Francisco del 9 al 15 de febrero. Durante este tiempo, los asuntos concernientes a primaria deben ser dirigidos a Ms. Cristiana, los asuntos de secundaria a Ms. Gloria, y asuntos administrativos a Ms. Paola. Debbie tendrá comunicación diaria via correo electrónico con la escuela en su ausencia.
Nuestros equipos de Football de hombres y mujeres han representado muy bien a la Escuela Discovery en sus competencias recientes. El último partido (mujeres) es este martes en Del Campo. Agradecemos a los alumnos por su dedicación al representar la escuela con tanta pasión y disciplina!
