THANK YOU TO THE DPTO for putting together an amazing Saturday fun morning! It was great to see so many parents and students enjoying the activities that were organized by our dedicated group of parents. And the complimentary breakfast was delicious!! The DPTO has asked the school to express their gratitude for the community support in this activity, and invite you to their upcoming BINGO NIGHT on March 8.

It is that amazing time of the school year when students in grades K-5 will be participating in a reading journey to commemorate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Beginning March 4, students will be reading books, completing activities and recording their progress not only towards an individual competition but towards an area goal to fill Dr. Seuss’ hats in Early Childhood and Elementary. Reading logs will be distributed next Monday, March 4. Please take the time to motivate your child into reading, reading, reading! This competition will last until March 29, and the winners of each grade will receive a prize from our DPTO.

Es un momento increíble del año escolar en el que los estudiantes de los grados Kinder a Quinto (K-5) participarán en un viaje de lectura para conmemorar el cumpleaños de Dr. Seuss. A partir del 4 de marzo, los estudiantes leerán libros, completarán actividades y registrarán su progreso no solo hacia una competencia individual sino hacia un objetivo del área para llenar los sombreros de Dr. Seuss en Pre-escolar y Primaria. Los registros de lectura se distribuirán el próximo lunes, 4 de marzo. ¡Favor de tomarse el tiempo para motivar a su hijo (a) a leer, leer, leer! Esta competencia durará hasta el 29 de marzo, y los ganadores de cada grado recibirán un premio de nuestro DPTO.

In Early Childhood we learn about many things. We teach our children about sharing and helping. CEPUDO is a nonprofit organization that helps people in need. One of the activities they carry out is donating goodie bags to new mothers at Hospital Materno Infantil. These goodie bags are filled with essentials for mothers and babies. In the next few weeks, you will be receiving an EMPTY TOTE BAG, so you and your child, can go through their baby clothes and pick out items they would like to donate to others.

En Pre-escolar, aprendemos acerca de muchas cosas. Enseñamos a nuestros estudiantes a compartir y ayudar. CEPUDO es una organización sin fines de lucro que ayuda a las personas con poco recursos. Una de las actividades que realizan es donar bolsas de artículos necesarios a las nuevas madres en el Hospital Materno Infantil. Estas bolsas de regalos llenas de productos les ayudan a las madres y los bebés. En las próximas semanas, recibirá una BOLSA VACIA, para que usted y su hijo (a) puedan revisar la ropa usada de su hijo(a) cuando era bebé y elegir los artículos que les gustaría donar.

Unfortunately, the BOOTCAMP that we were trying to organize for our high school students to attend was cancelled due to lack of quorum. Ms.Bélgica , at the Finance Office, is returning the money to the students/parents who had already paid the fee. Please drop by to collect it. Thanks.
