THANK YOU to our wonderful students for their superb performances last Friday in our annual Songfest. Your talent is simply amazing! Mr. Guillermo Anderson´s family will receive a digital copy of our tribute to his work and legacy, and somewhere in heaven he is certainly smiling down on us.
Special thanks go out to our very talented music department Ms. Pamela and Ms. Norma, to Mr. Cesar and Mr. Warren for their musical contributions, to Ms. Pia for her help in the choreographies, and to all our teachers for their support for this magnificent event.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS – we want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season! Our teachers will be back in school on Friday, January 6, getting ready to receive our students in the New Year. Classes will resume on Monday, January 9, 2017.

This Tuesday, December 13, 2016 we will be taking a group picture with Santa. Please have your little ones come to school in Christmas attire. Santa Claus is really busy this time of the year, so please do your best to have your child come to school on this day. No make-up pictures will be available!
The Early Childhood students will be performing “THE NUTCRACKER” this coming Wednesday, December 14th at 8:30 a.m. in the Early Childhood Playground.

BASKETBALL FUN - The third, fourth and fifth graders have been learning about basketball in PE class. As an extension activity, they will participate in an intramural basketball tournament this Friday, December 16. The games will begin at 1:20 p.m.
Parents are welcome to come and cheer and join the fun.
EMAIL ETTIQUETTE – the fifth graders had a very interesting presentation last Friday where Ms. Adalia went over the do´s and don’ts of writing an email.

DIVERSIÓN DE BALONCESTO - Los estudiantes de tercer, cuarto y quinto grado han estado aprendiendo acerca del baloncesto en la clase de educación física. Como actividad de extensión, participarán en un torneo de baloncesto intramural este viernes 16 de diciembre. Los juegos comenzarán a las 1:20 p.m.
Los padres son bienvenidos a venir, animar y unirse a la diversión.
ETIQUETA - los estudiantes de quinto grado tuvieron una presentación muy interesante el pasado viernes donde Ms. Adalia repasó lo que se debe hacer y lo que no se debe hacer al escribir un correo electrónico.

We wish to congratulate Valeria Martinez on her recent admission to Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Valeria was awarded a merit scholarship recognizing her high academic performance. Well done, Valeria!
We are also proud to share the news of Sonia Casco’s admission to University of New Brunswick, as well as, Memorial University, both universities located in Canada. Way to go, Sonia!
