MIDTERMS – Midterm reports were issued last Friday,
September 11. Please do not forget to send the signed reports back to school as
soon as possible.
FALL
GENERAL ASSEMBLY –Parents are invited to attend the
Fall General Assembly on Saturday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. Among many important items to review, you
will received a preview of what to expect during the AdvancED/SACS accreditation study, including feedback on
you surveys. Your support is greatly appreciated.
BRICKS4KIDZ – The first module for Bricks4kidz will begin this Friday,
September 18. Each module will have only 4 sessions, at a cost of Lps.1,000.00
per module. A Bricks4kidz representative will be in school on Friday, September
18 before the class begins, for those of you who are interested in enrolling

CHANGES
IN THE OCTOBER HOLIDAYS – We have received official word that a decree was
issued in Congress changing the October holidays to October 7, 8, and 9 . We will be complying and
changing the holidays.
We understand that some families may have
purchased tickets for trips at the end of October, and we will be as
accommodating as possible in helping our students with missed work. If this is
the case, please contact the teachers and/or area coordinator to make the
arrangements for makeup work and content.

Scholastic Book Club
leaflets were given out last week. This is an optional activity offered by the
school, because we know you want to motivate your child to read at home.
With your purchase, our library will accumulate points to redeem more books for
the benefit of your children in our school. The due date to purchase the
books online was September 18. The
books will arrive to the school in one single delivery, and we will distribute
them to the students according to their orders, approximately three weeks after
the purchase due date.

MEDIO PERIODO – Los reportes de medio período fueron enviados el pasado viernes 11 de
septiembre. Favor no olvide enviar de regreso los reportes firmados a la
escuela tan pronto sea posible.
ASAMBLEA GENERAL DE OTOÑO – Invitamos a los padres a asistir a la Asamblea
General de otoño el día sábado 26 de septiembre, a las 9:00 a.m. Entre varios
puntos importantes a revisar, se les mostrará un adelanto de que esperar
durante el estudio de la acreditación de AdvanceED/SACS, incluyendo una retroalimentación
de sus encuestas. Agradecemos en gran

BRICKS4KIDZ – El primer modulo de Bricks4kidz comenzará el día viernes 18 de septiembre.
Cada modulo será de solamente 4 sesiones, por un valor de L.1,000.00 por
modulo. Un representante de Bricks4kidz estará en la escuela el viernes 18 de
septiembre antes que inicien las clases, para aquellos que estén interesados en

CAMBIOS EN LOS FERIADOS DE OCTUBRE – Hemos
recibido comunicado oficial que un decreto se emitió en el Congreso cambiando
los feriados de octubre para el 7, 8 y 9 de octubre. Estaremos cumpliendo y cambiando los
feriados.
Pedimos a nuestros maestros que comprendan y sean flexibles con aquellas
familias que han comprado boletos para los viajes a finales de octubre y que no
se puedan cambiar. Sean serviciales lo
mas que puedan para que ayuden a los alumnos con el trabajo y contenido
perdido.

Noticias de Scholastic –
Los formularios del Club del Libro de Scholastic se entregaron la semana
pasada. Esta es una actividad opcional ofrecida por la escuela, ya que buscamos
motivar a sus hijos a la lectura en casa. Con su compra, nuestra biblioteca
acumulará puntos para redimir por más libros que beneficiarán a sus hijos en la
escuela. La fecha límite para la compra de libros en línea fue18 de septiembre. Los libros llegarán a
la escuela en una solo paquete, y los distribuiremos a los alumnos según las
ordenes, aproximadamente tres semanas después de la fecha límite de compra.
