Pledge forms will be sent home this week. Parents and students should fill them out, collect the money, and turn it in during the inscription on the day of the event. This is a fun and exciting activity for the whole family! Join us for a delicious pancake & fruit breakfast after the run/walk!  FUN RUN & WALK – El DPTO será anfitrión de la Carrera & Caminata anual a las 8:30 a.m. del sábado 25 de marzo de 2017 en Discovery School. Únase a nosotros para un delicioso desayuno con panqueque y fruta después de la carrera / caminata!   EARLY CHILDHOOD AND ELEMENTARY NEWS  NOTICIAS DE PREESCOLAR & PRIMARIA READ – A- THON – Grades K – 5 annual read-a-thon has begun!  Students were given a Reading Log (sheet) and a book mark. The student who has read the most pages in his/her class by March 31st will win a lunch off campus sponsored by our DPTO. We ask parents for their support encouraging their child/children to read, read, read, and record their reading in their logs.   MARATÓN DE LECTURA- Kinder a 5to. grado comenzaron su lectura anual. ¡El maratón de lectura ha comenzado! Los estudiantes han recibido un registro de lectura (hoja) y un marcapáginas. El estudiante que haya leído el mayor número de páginas de su clase para el 31 de marzo, ganará un almuerzo fuera del campus patrocinado por nuestro DPTO. Students will be traveling on Thursday, March 23. We wish all of our delegates good luck!  LOCAL BILINGUAL SCHOOLS SPELLING BEE – A group of our very talented students will be participating in the Local Bilingual Schools’ Spelling Bee on March 25, at the International School of Tegucigalpa. We thank this group of parents for their support in this participation.    MODELO DE NACIONES UNIDAS ABSH – Ms. Cara y Mr. Andrew viajarán con 9 estudiantes a La Ceiba para representar a la escuela en esta competencia.
