WELCOME TO THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR – I would like to take this opportunity to extend the warmest of welcomes to all our students and parents to this new and exciting school year. My wife and I are very excited to begin this new journey with such an amazing school community, and I look forward to meeting all of you. Please feel free to stop by my office or stop me as you see me walking around campus, to introduce yourself and your children. Our teachers and staff have been working very hard to get everything ready to make this a successful and memorable year, and this would not be possible if you did not entrust your children to us. Thank you!

BIENVENIDOS AL AÑO ESCOLAR 2018-2019 - Me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para extender la más cálida bienvenida a todos nuestros estudiantes y padres de familia a este nuevo y emocionante año escolar. Mi esposa y yo estamos muy emocionados de comenzar este nuevo viaje con una comunidad escolar tan increíble, y espero con ansias conocerlos a todos. Por favor, siéntanse libre de pasar por mi oficina o detenerme mientras me ven caminando por el campus, para presentarse y presentarme a sus hijos (as). Nuestros maestros (as) y el personal han trabajado arduamente para tener todo listo para que este sea un año exitoso y memorable, y ¡Gracias por confiar sus hijos(as) a nosotros!

NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION
& OPEN HOUSE

Please take note that tomorrow we will have an Orientation for New Families at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7. We will all meet in the Conference Room on the second floor of the Administration Building where general guidelines will be given, and then each Area Administrator will take parents and students on a campus tour to meet their teachers.

Favor tomar nota que mañana tendremos una Orientación para las Nuevas Familias a las 9:00 a.m. el martes 7 de agosto. Nos reuniremos todos en el Salón de Conferencias en el segundo piso del Edificio de Administración donde se darán pautas generales, y luego cada Coordinadora Académica de área llevará a los padres de familia y estudiantes en un recorrido por el campus para conocer a sus maestros (as).

Sixth Grade students (and parents if they so wish) are invited to come to a Middle School Orientation on Tuesday, August 7 at 9:00 a.m. Please come to the Conference Room on the second floor of the Administration Building.

Early Childhood (N, Pk, K, 1) students (and parents if they so wish) are invited to come to a our Open House on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. Please come to the Conference Room on the second floor of the Administration Building.

Los Estudiantes de Pre-escolar (N, Pk, K, 1) (y los padres de familia si así lo desean) están invitados a venir a nuestro Open House el martes, 7 de agosto a las 10:00 am. Favor de llegar al Salón de Conferencias en el segundo piso de el edificio de administración.

Our entire school community is invited to the Open House that will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7. Please feel free to visit with teachers and other parents/students and walk through our campus to check out the new things that have been set in place.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Discovery School’s 20 th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Friday, August 31, 2018 . Committees have been formed, but we are still welcoming any parent or teacher that wants to participate in the planning of this extraordinary event!
